Visited the cemetery while in Tuscombia and Red Bay for training on Tiffin Motorhomes. It brought back many fond memories of us walkin every stitch of the woods around here that we could from dark to who only knows what time we would quit.

i was so supprized to see this web page.its good to know people love there pets.im a bassethound owner.my babyboy was shot & killed on 6/28/08 i miss him dearly.

I love this site. My granddaddy had coonhounds and when I was 4 years old I decided that I was a coonhound. I changed my name to Midnight. I learned to talk like the hounds and now when I do storytellings all over the southeast people ask me to bark! They are amazed. If I ever revert to being Midnight when I am an old woman, maybe I can be buried in the Coonhound Cemetary,too! ;-)

Finally after about 20+ yrs. of hearing about the coondog cemetry in North Alabama, I Finally Made It to this great resting place for our friends. Thank You Mister Key Underwood for your devotion to the greatest sport on this planet & your friend Troop & other great companions like him!

My wife,daughter and myself visited the coondog cemetery on July 19,2008 and thought it was a great memorial to all coondogs.Being the proud owner of two redbones it is great to see that they are remembered this way even after they pass.thank you

Sure is good to know that there is a sacred place where the "Good ol Hounds are still Howling " , sure do miss those different voices I've heard throughout the years, may they all rest in Peace. I'm sure there are alot of red ferns growing down there !Thanks for bringing back the old tears.

As the owner of coon hounds over the years, this website is truly incredible. Anyone who has ever owned a true coon hound has to appreciate this website as well as the cemetary :-)

i love all the pics i have seen of the graveyard and i have to say one day i will get to see it but i hope its years from now for when i come to see it. it will be to say good-bye to my blue-tick coondog that i love so very much.

It was a great ride on our motorcycles to see the Coon Dog Cemetery. I never knew such a place existed. It's nice to know that folks want to lay their coon dog to rest among others of the same breed. What a tribute to the working dog. :D

it is great that such a place was created -- the coon dogs in our life would most definitely NOT get along with the other kick-me dogs you find in most pet cemeteries so why make them spend eternity surround by them?

Sometimes memories are just not enough. This is awesome. We are fortunate to have a "special place" for our beloved ones that are resting WAY before thier time.

wonderful! i almost cried. lucky for me i live next to a cemetery, that part of our land is on, so i have a special place to bury my beloved friends. ya'll are awesome for doing that for other people who aren't so lucky!

Awesome site wish I had known about it when pappy's redbone had passed on he would have loved to have been able to lay him to rest with the best.Pappy has also gone home so it's been awhile since i've been to the woods..I think it's about time I start going again. Thanks Fellas Happy hunting..

My husband found out about the Coon Dog Memorial thru ebay (Coon Dog Knife) was for sale, and the ad had told of the memorial. We viewed this website, it's awesome! We don't have a coon dog, just lap dogs but they're special to us!
